What are the best cleaners for carpet stains?

I don’t want to shampoo the whole carpet, just spot treat. I have already used Resolve, but it didn’t work well. Any other solutions out there?

Try "CHEMDRY" Available at any Home Depot store. Spray it on, wait a minute or two, then blot dry. Works Great!!! Regards-Bob.

I use slightly diluted ammonia. Sudsy ammonia works best, if you can find it. Wet a clean cloth with solution and rub the spot. Sometimes, I spray the spot with the mixture and let it soak for a bit, then rub. Blot with another clean/dry cloth. Keep doing this until spot is gone. Place a clean towel over spot until dry. Works every time I’ve had a spot but the sooner you do this, the better. I use ammonia to spot clean my clothes and add to my laundry. Hope this helps.

I use a small scrap piece of carpet – the size of my hand with seltzer. Any flavor works, just scrub. You may need to repeat every 8 hours to reduce the color of the stain completely.
