Opinions on carpet steam cleaners: which one's the best?

My Hoover broke, so I went to Kohl’s and got a really nice deal on a Rug Doctor Mighty Pro. Nice machine, except it’s heavy, and it only extracted 25% or LESS of the water out of the mattresses and couch cushions. SO, I reasearch all nite. There’s a really nice Bissell on sale at Kohl’s too, but many reviews said that when you do furniture, it doens’t extract much water. So, today I go to Kohl’s, and take back the Rug Doctor. I bought a Hoover Max extract. It extracts about 80% of the water, has a few annoying things like any carpet cleaner, but they’re now putting on stiff, short, grey HARD plastic hoses that want to curl up. Also it’s hard to work on the bottom edges of the chairs near the floor, because the hose is so stiff, it gets under the upholstery tool and your hand and blocks you from running the tool down at the very bottom bottom near the floor.

Anyone got any other ideas? I’m not familiar with the Dyson at all. I wouldn’t touch a Shark, and don’t like Oreck anything.

Gruene steam cleaner against bathroom tiles

I don’t have the best of experiences with steam cleaners to be honest. Most are bulky, they’re loud, expensive, and don’t work well enough to be worth the trouble – I mean, a lot of them even only do carpets. I’ve seen this new type of cleaner advertised, and it looked so amazing, I thought it really couldn’t be true… it just sounded way too good. I’m pretty shocked that it wasn’t too good to be true. The Gruene really blew me away within ten minutes of opening the box, and most of those minutes were spent just reading instructions and what tools do what. It was easy to put together so I could try it right away. The steam was ready to go in just seconds like promised, and I didn’t get hurt using it. Despite the fact that I’m about to have my third back surgery, this cleaner is light enough for me to use it without pain. I just put the water in, and within a few seconds, using only one attachment, I was able to clean stuff off of shower and bathroom tiles that had been there for years, without even having to put much work into it. The thing that took the most time? Cleaning the brush after doing a lot of cleaning with it, and even that didn’t take long. I was able to do about six large tiles, including the lines between, in two minutes, including the time it took to create the steam. It was just amazing, and it’s going to help with the flood damage a lot. It can be used to sanitize items, get wrinkles out of clothes, has a corner attachment, and other attachments for

Cleaners for finished natural hardwood flooring?

I got a puppy, he went to the bathroom on the hardwood floors of the rental house I am in. I can’t get the smell out and I do not want to have to replace the floors. Before you say Murphy oil soap, I tried it; it didn’t get the smell out and it left a sticky residue on the floor. Would a floor steam cleaner help, like the shark or something. I used bleach on the linoleum but I know it won’t be good for the wood.

steam floor cleaners….Do any of them work ?

I am looking to buy a steam cleaner for my hard floors at home, not carpets.
I have looked at Hoover, Bissell, Shark and a few more, they all appear to be made from cheap flimsy plastic….I have read reviews online about the Hoover Steam cleaner and am really glad i didnt buy one, they dont work !
Can anyone help me in finding a steam cleaner under 0 that does actually steam and clean.
Awaiting any replies whilst i scrub my rather large kitchen floor by hand !!!!! Yay.
